A new, state-of-the-art CNC instructional facility at Delta College, featuring more than $2 million in new equipment, is on display during an April 21 Open House. During the Open House, attendees will learn more about renewed growth in manufacturing in the state and efforts to help community colleges to better prepare students seeking employment in a skilled trades career.
A skilled trades equipment grant helped pay for the new CNC facility and equipment at Delta. In addition to the equipment purchased through the grant, Delta also has three entrustment programs that include Haas, Rollomatic and TruTech.
